I remember the solar eclipse in August 1999. It was awesome.

I was working at a small law firm at the time, and we closed the office and walked up the road to the local park so we could see it. We watched it through these pinhole things they'd shown you how to make in the newspaper, and also reflected in the lake.

As the sky grew dark, I and another madwoman kindred spirit I worked with danced, waving our arms around as we sang "This is the dawning of the Age of Aquarius" while the kids who worked with us looked embarrassed and tried to pretend they didn't know us. Heh.

Maybe this is why so many mechatters had a lousy day yesterday. :[

No, my lousy day was work-related. And look! I'm at work now!
