is it possible in good conscience [More:] to date a republican?
i mean, they do get very excited about sex.
actually, he may just be a conservative capitalist in accidental circumstances.

For a while I had a bizarre e-crush on this republican girl. I think I find her reverence for authority as something of an odd turn-on.

it's one of those "just so crazy, it might work" things.
i should know better.
i have enough irreverence to spare.

Only if you spend every moment trying to convert them from the Dark Side.

Yeah, but the loofahs start to get really scratchy after a while.
posted by Miko 27 March | 00:46
fenriq, i think the sex does that, and, miko, the only worthy bath scrubbing tool is the nylon scrubby thing that looks like industrial cheesecloth with no enlish name i know of.

english even
but it won invention of the year a lot

"fenriq, i think the sex does that, "
Nah. About 9 years ago I had great sex with a woman who turned out to be a republican. Her talk about feminist dykes and abortion and commie faggots just killed it all. I still feel dirty.

of course maybe I just ain't sexy nuff to make a convert
posted by arse_hat 27 March | 01:03
nah, the convert is the logic, the sex is just quicker
posted by ethylene 27 March | 01:03
and yet it may not get to that.
i'm being very '50's about this whole dating thing

unless i find someone who needs immediate jumping.

weretable's boppy girlpop is making me feel properly repressed.

Falafal.

it's doomed, of course.
but a girl has to do some things before she dates.
like exfoliate and make sure she can have thundering orgasms.

boys and their thing with the ball pain?
nothing compared to the combined pain and frustration of bad sex for women.

this explains the "get the fuck off me" reaction.
posted by ethylene 27 March | 02:48
Eh, boy pain aint so bad. Nothing a brisk, solo howdy-do can't fix.

Bad sex is just terrible for everyone. Well, at least everyone with a teaspoon of wit. I can't speak for the drunken bust-a-nutters who could care less about, well, everything in general.
posted by loquacious 27 March | 03:10
i think that's how they named nutter butters.

but boy's will complain even after of the pain of sustaining.
this is why boys are only for limited use.

this also explains the older men and younger women thing/ older women and younger men:

the men are happy with the not exploding every five seconds and getting to enjoy sex and the women are happy with the ability for them to explode and readily be able or maintain so they can enjoy sex.

the inexperienced of both sexes just have fumblingly uneventful jaded sex with other people, if ever at all.

My dad is a Democrat and my mom is a Republican. And they've been married for 25, 26 years. So it can work.
posted by ThePinkSuperhero 27 March | 07:33
eh, the politics are no problems.
it's a wash.
it'll end up me taking on a new client.

politics aside, it's just too long a shot, she says with pragmatism.

couldn't seanyboy just suddenly fall in love with me?
posted by ethylene 27 March | 07:51
Boys complain, "The pain!"

Men grow beards that tickle your cheeks; men hold iron long after it turns to lead; men serve you seconds before serving themselves at all.

Men wouldn't have it any other way.

I think it's very important to be exposed (if you'll pardon the expression) to people you disagree with politically. Otherwise, you get into this mindset of "people who disagree with me are ALWAYS WRONG AND EVIL."
posted by JanetLand 27 March | 09:41
JanetLand, i would respond but i am sod with irony at the statement.

exposed.
heh.
posted by ethylene 27 March | 09:44
Hugh, i can't spew the necessary spew of one not in a liberal stronghold, to say the least.
Hold me. I'm tired.
posted by ethylene 27 March | 09:55
Okay.
posted by Hugh Janus 27 March | 11:08
Yes, it works.

/hitched to a fucking Tory.

It's annoying as hell, though, at times.
