One of my NYC cartoonist friends is PISSED OFF at this cartoon--but not because she supports the SD governor.

She's pissed off because she feels that her character design work is being plagerized because when she was at MoCCA 2002, she and the artist swapped comics and she's been drawing a character with almond-shaped eyes, pigtails and dark hair since 2001.

So, while I did giggle at the strip, I'm not as in love with it as someone else would be.
