ew yeah, just looked under...was Mac thinking past ten user days when they decided to make the clear keyboard? disgusting.

I made the mistake of "cleaning" my keyboard a while ago.

It hasn't been the same ever since. It seems that when I shook out all the loose tobacco, cigarette ash and cat hair much of it fell up inside the keycaps and then back down into the switches, rather than just staying out of the way accumulating in the keycap wells around the switches. Guh.

Now my left shift key is all sticky and glitchy. I should pick up another keyboard like this one since I like them so much, and I could just shuffle this one over to another comp as backup. (KeyMaestro "office" pro keyboard. Cheap. Scroll wheel and cut/copy/paste buttons, app switcher, media keys, back-forward browser buttons, application launch buttons and all that cool shit I never thought I'd ever like or need.)

Keyboards are disgusting things - they are like magnets for all sorts of effluvium and it is entirely possible that the end of humanity will be brought about by a formerly-unknown disease contracted from a keyboard.

I have a black keyboard, wolfdaddy. It's in sad shape. My mouse isn't so bad.
