it was the best of times, it was the worst of times Yesterday was crap-fantastic.

The crappy thing I cannot talk about-it will take care of itself-but it was Crap. C. R. A. P.

OTOH, bunnies, we got our offer accepted-this bunny is gonna be a homeowner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Perhaps it's cilantro that can actually turn that frown upside down. Congrats on the home ownership. Work out you writing hand before the closing - no matter how many thing's you're prepared to sign, there will be more!

Yup, there will be miles of paperwork. But we knew the job was dangerous when we took it. ;-)

(as to the Thing That Shall Not Be Mentioned, it involved unwarranted legal trouble vis-a-vis one of our progeny. Things will be just fine in the end, but yesterday was not fun for her at all.Moral of the story, always have witnesses. Thank God she did!)

Heh.

Well, might as well mention the unmentionable. A guy was trying to block my daughter's egress from his house. She scratched him in the process of making her way out. He being the fine upstanding individual he was called the cops and reported an assault, then embellished the story, accusing her of kicking him in the gonads, etc.

Then he promptly moved to Georgia the next day.

One set of prints and mugshots later my daughter emerged, whereupon from here till eternity beside the dictionary definition of "pissed" (american version) you should find her picture.

And then the guy had the utter nerve to call her on her cellphone (whilst I was taking her home )to beg her forgiveness. You can guess how that went.

Yeah, we got her a lawyer. Fortunately she has a witness, who can also testify he tried to get her to bust his nose to further frame my kid.Plus he won't show up for the hearing. So we're all sure charges will be dropped. The boy supposedly tried to recant but once this particular ball starts rolling that's the end of it.

Oh, did I mention my car wouldn't start and I had to buy a new battery in the middle of all this?
