I live in a dicky apt so anything to have anything bigger just wouldn't be fair. Alas, no doggie for this kid though as I can barely afford to feed and house me, let alone a dependent.

I just love them because it always looks like they're having such a good time! How can you not love such a happy animal?

If I had space though I would own something massive like a newf/malamute cross...a small furry horse basically.

I loved Belle & Sebastian when I was a kid. But not the animated thing, which I never knew existed till now, but the original.

White Horses was great too. I still remember the theme song. "On white horses let me ride away, to a world of dreams so far away, let me run, to the sun ..."

Yes, I know I should get out more.

Thanks, lunaticfringe and essexjan; I didn't actually know about any of those cool origins of the name "Belle & Sebastian".

Also, cute video, deborah... I love the chaotic feeling, and how the dogs just really want to mostly smell each other's butts.

sciurus - you can't wrestle quite like you can with a larger dog, but you can rough house a bit.

lunaticfringe - Malamutes are another favourite dog of mine. If it made sense tho', I'd get a Irish Wolfhound. The sad thing with giant dog breeds is that they have such short lives.
