I start my new job April 3rd. I'm kinda hoping to get laid off this week from my old job so I can take a bit of a vacation. You never know. On the other hand, I could be laid off with no severance, and have to scrape together money to pay the rent this month. So on the whole, working until the end is fine too.

My metachat swap CD is mostly done, but it's missing something. I have to listen to it again and find one more good song.

My cousin is concerned because her new romantic interest hasn't kissed her yet. 3 dates in. Not sure what advice to give.

The weather is nice and warm.

I went out of town for the weekend with my boyfriend, a bit of a mini-vacation.

Come home to find that my roommate has basically moved his girlfriend of one week in.

Hi! We had our dishwasher fixed this morning, which I'm pretty pleased about. It's a lovely day, sunny but cool, with a fresh sea breeze. It's like Auckland weather and I'm always pleased to be reminded of home. Right now I'm thinking of having lunch. Bye now!

PS I really should get goin on my CD swap, I've only got a coupla songs so far.

nomis, I flat out told her she can stay a night or two, max. Apparently she decided she didn't want to live with her parents anymore and he took her in. This place is really too small for two, much less three.

Unfortunately he's been unemployed for ages, just started working again and hasn't been paid yet, and I'm the only one paying the bills at the moment. So I'm double pissed.

And now I am off to make dinner.

I feel your pain kelly. Moving into our own no-flatmates place was the best investment mrs nomis and I ever made. Unfortunately we have to keep remaking it every month, but that's the pauper's life. Enjoy your dinner! I was just joshing about the poison, k?? :)

I had pho, and watched a large carved wooden eagle crash through through the lid and lights on the restaurant fishtank. Startling. And the fish were totally peeing themselves.

I totally missed the word "carved," tejolote, and was simultaneously impressed at your composure (I woulda shit my pants if an eagle dropped out of the sky and into a pho joint's fishtank), astonished at the idea of pho joints in the wilderness (or eagles in the city), and hungry for pho.
