Yay! I love piercings! I got one about two weeks ago....its in a "special" place.

This explains the "fancy belly jewelry" thread on AskMe (I'm stalking you TPS).

How was it pain-wise, TPS?

I wanted to get my belly button pierced a while back but the mister put the kibosh on it. So, I got my nose pierced instead. Hee!

It wasn't bad at all- the woman who did mine was the manager of the piercing place, and she knew what she was doing. She put a little clamp on it, and then said, OK, take a breath, and then PINCH that was it. All done. Now it's just a little sore but I already think it's feeling better.

P.S. the place we went to, Steelworks Body Jewelry, was awesome. If you're ever in West Palm Beach and need a tattoo or piercing or you just want to hang out with cool peeps, it's the place to go. Later in the day my sister got her cartlidge pierced, and we were there for like an hour- meeting the tattoo guys, meeting this strip club bouncer who was just hanging out, hearing Alex the piercer vent about how much all her workers suck.... awesome place.
