i will never doubt your commitment to sparkle motion There is no word in the English language sufficient to convey the precise mix of emotions I feel after viewing this. It's like bathos with an irrepressible frisson of TOTALLY AWESOME.
it's so retarded...unbelievably so.

I saw this on the news this morning. There's something just a little ... creepy ... about this. I get that there's spirit and hope and youth and enthusiasm on display, but you're strapped to a body board. Take it easy. Maybe a raised fist, but spastic cheering? Creepy.

y'know... if I was in a situiation where spinal injury was likely, I don't think I'd flail myself about like that.

Hahah. I saw a bit of this on the Colbert report a couple days ago, not the whole thing just her falling, and then cheering. In the video you can see she's doing it being fed by the audience applause, but in the short bit on the Colbert report she just seemed like a psychopath :P

Have you ever experienced being seriously injured in front of people? There is an embarrassed feeling of giddiness.

She seems to be suffering from some sort of spasms.

She was likely terrified and doing what was immediately familiar to calm herself.
