When taz mentioned the purse (!), the first thing I thought of was those awful little fur wraps (mink, chinchilla, etc., with the feet still attached) that ladies used to wear. You could make a really scary stole out of a bunch of kiwa hirsutas. It would weigh a ton and would also be noisy and smelly and it would pinch, but apart from that it would totally rule.

More lobster fashion here.
