Holy smokes! Moonbird you just became my Radio Metachat first as I preview what life would be like with something better than dial-up. Too bad this is the tail end of my internet time, but thank you.

I will be getting broadband soon! It's my new year's resolution (but I had to wait until after I went down to Mobile, AL and came back before I schedule whatever needs to be scheduled). It's a must now, too. My partner is doing a more online research at home (now in graduate school) and I will, sadly, be accessing Metachat and most other fun web stuff from home only as my work situation has radically changed (mostly for the better, but busier).
