what, wishlist? a book, a record. That's wanting, not wishing. A Wish list would be more like this:

The power to move objects with my mind.
An army of Rachel Rays to be my love slaves.
a magically replenishing beer bottle.
The ability to sprout wings and fly to Peru.

I'm gonna add stuff to mine... and re-post the link when it's my birthday! hahahhah. Right now mine is just a lot of obscure recordings of theatre shows.

That's just my regular list. I have separate lists for work-related, photography, and TV DVDs.

I don't necessarily want to *buy* all that stuff. It's just a place for me to keep track of stuff I'm interested in.

Word! It's a great way of bookmarking stuff I hear about. Hence Robbie Williams is on my list. I saw the video for Rock DJ and was enamoured.

The more I think about it, this is a brilliant idea. I find most of the music and literature I consume by looking at friends' bookshelves.

Capn, bravo on the Twilight Zone love. I think Serling is an underappreciated genius. It's amazing how many people don't realize that those shows are actually morality plays.

moonbird, w00t on the Stanislaw Lem. I adore Tarkovski's film treatment of the story and am very curious about the source material. On the same subject, has anyone had a chance to read the source material for another Tarkovski film, stalker? I think it was "Roadside Picknic" by Anatoly & Boris Strugatski, and it seems to be out of print...

Yep, just so people know that it will have their real name showing. I put moonbird's and agropyron's up, but agro took his down probably for that reason (sorry). If folks want to take theirs down, let me know.
