My latest guilty pleasure is 'American Idol' (Go Taylor!) and I loved the African-American woman who sang Redneck Woman at her audition.

I didn't see that, but that's fuckin' beautiful. And I've met several black people who could sing that tune without a trace of irony and mean it.

Hee, thanks. It's not really what you'd call new, though. It's older than dirt on the mefi/mechat timeline. I just never post much.
