NYC Curling Meetup If I could make this happen sometime how many people might be interested? The only location I've found is 45 minutes from Grand Central, via Metro-North.
(I mean doing it eventually, not doing it immediately.)

OMG field trip! I'd go.

Where? I'd love to go curling, even if it's 2-3 hrs from here.

I was looking at the Ardsley Curling Club, but it looks like that isn't going to pan out this year.

Their season ends on April 2nd, and all the evening and weekend slots are already booked. (Just heard back from them.) Sucks.

They have an open house March 5. South Plainfield's also got an open house. Maybe not as much ice time as you'd hoped, but hey.

Sadly for me, the only open house around here is this weekend in Rochester, at a time when I will be absolutely unable to attend. I wish I'd known in advance!

they actually let random people just do it?

That South Plainfield location looks promising. I'm trying to figure out (without a lot of success) if there's a nearby train station.

It's right next to train tracks, but the closest station I found was 5 miles away (and on a different line).

Man that sounds fun! We watched it Friday night & would love to try it.

Just two simple rules:

-Don't drop the stones; they'll crack the sheet.

-Don't bring your beer on the ice; someone could slip.

Oh, and bring duct tape for your slider foot.
