a present from panoptican, in absentia (zip file) --a zip of a mix he did for us... message inside: [More:]
hello fellow mechas. i'll readily admit that i miss y'all quite a lot. indeed, it's the one thing internet i miss the most since quitting. that said i'm still really glad i'm taking this break. i can actually feel myself become more balanced and i think i may be re-gaining some lost sanity. anyway, a bunch of people asked that i ysi the last radio mecha set i played (you know, the scary mix). i don't remember who exactly though, so i'm just emailing a bunch of you because (a) you frequently listened to my radio sets and potentially asked for this set and (b) you are among my favorite internet friends in the whole world. don't'cha feel special. you can download a zip of the mix here:

feel free to post it to mecha if you'd like. i'll leave the zip file on my webspace for at least a week. as a warning, the zip file is 300mb so it'll take at least 10 minutes to download on cable/dsl. and i attached a cover, for your enjoyment (as well as the playlist in case you want to look at that before downloading). take care all. and don't forget to invite me to the bunny orgy, whenever it goes down.

"22 going on 23" is one of my faves - I haven't heard it in a while, so thanks...but *slaps wrists* no mix should contain more than one track by the same artist, even if that artist is Tom Waits.

And the mix has some pretty sweet music on it too.

Hope the exile is getting you where you need to be, Panoptican.
