I do not like melons. At all. None of them.

But I do like Melon Ball cocktails.

I've never seen Dirty Dancing, and I HATE cantaloupe. Any other kind of melon is okay.

Though I don't like mangoes unless they're dried. Is that a melon?

I will eat all your leftover melon and mangoes. When I was pregnant, I would eat whole cantaloupes at a sitting.

I love melons but most of them give me gas. I've never seen Top Gun or Dirty Dancing but I did see E.T. It did not give me gas.

I had a chance to have a same-sex romace. For a variety of reasons, I said no. I've regretted it ever since. I'll admit it, the guy was hot.

I also have never seen E.T. Or Schindler's List. I don't like melons either. I try to like them every year or so, but they make me gag. I secretly dread losing my sex drive.

I DID see the Rocky Horror Picture show several times, in my misspent youth.

I cried when The Incredible Hulk died. Furthermore, I woke up crying the next morning, made it through the school day, then fell apart crying on the school bus on the way home.

Also, I just saw "Dirty Dancing" for the first time last year and was shocked to discover that:

a) as far as I could tell, no one put Baby anywhere and

b) even if they had, wherever Baby was wasn't the corner.

The last few years, I cry all the damn time at the movies. No one in my family knows. The one that gets me the worse is The Iron Giant, where in the last scene, as the giant flies upwards to sacrifice himself by detonating the missile, he says "I am not a gun. I am Superman."
