My turn to share. Dwight Yoakam's Free to Go and It Only Hurts When I Cry.
[More:]Free to Go is more country rock with an Allmanesque slide guitar that's phenomenal. It Only Hurts When I Cry is traditional country. Both are fantastic.
"It Only Hurts When I Cry" is one of my favorite songs ever. I can't hear at work -- is this the album version or the one from the acoustic record?

I also particularly like "1,000 Miles From Nowhere" and "Two Doors Down."

Great stuff. Love Dwight Yoakam. He's also a good actry.

It's the album version off If There Was a Way. I also have the acoustic version and a live version if you want me to upload either.

Dwight is a fuckin' musical genius. After I first heard him I bought a ton of other country music. Turns out I only like Dwight Yoakam.

LarryC, you're not the only person I've heard say that. Can't remember who the other was.

Still, though, it's not just you.
