Old folks' handwriting. Did your grandma and grandpa call each other "mother" and "father"? Mine did, and I always thought it was kind of weird. Is it thing of their generation, or do people just hit a certain age and decide to call their husband "Daddy" (and not in the kinky way)?
Seems to be three schools of thought in the comments:
1. Daddy has a medical condition necessitating lots of prunes.
2. "Cook me some prunes" is a strange and kinky code phrase.
3. Daddy just really liked prunes. A lot.
me3dia, I had to come back to tell you... well... sweetheart, I think you know what I want.
Heh. No - not really. But just that it's so bizarre, I had to revisit the page today. And this time, in the comments section, I found an explanation of how the notes were found:
They were in a box of letters.
At the bottom.
In an envelope.
With a rubberband wrapped around it.
Written on the front.
"Notes from Daddy"
