Wendy's Grill Skill --training video from 89, with a rapper and heavily madeup hamburger girls.
Money well spent. I am glad this has been released to the public, now we can all benefit. (Just as soon as I get an industrial flat grill installed in my house I will be referring back to this.)

When I briefly worked in McDonalds it was so much simpler than this. And I still have my Crew Handbook!

I love stuff like this. Thanks for sharing.

Heh. You worked at McDonalds? I worked for a while at a "B list" burger joint for a while when I was in high school. I used to call it "BurgerDoodle", and for the life of me, I can't remember what it was really called now.

That's what I'm left with, the memory of being a BurgerDoodle monkey, and unresolved emotional trauma related to the times they made me dress up in the big cartoon animal costume (can't remember what kind of animal, even) and greet customers in the parking lot.

Yeah, it was a weekend job when I was sixteen. I managed to last all of three days before I chucked in the towel but it was a pretty eventful three days that gave me a different view of how fast food companies are run.

I didn't have to wear any costumes but I did have to do Litter Patrol once. McD's had (and still has) a terrible reputation for generating rubbish so they'd regularly send out one of the staff in a jacket labelled "LITTER PATROL" in very large letters to sweep up outside the store. Just a PR exercise really.

Sure, you fancy-schmancy McDonalds people have it easy with your comfortable and stylish litter patrol uniforms. You can't know what it's like to dress up as a giant cow and stumble around blindly, sweating your ass off in 90 degree weather. Yeah, get back in yer McMercedes, fancy boy, and go back to your McMansion.
