confessions of a Mecha lurker I visit here every day, but you'd never know it. I save and listen to the songs YouSend. So when you're #26 to click and are out of luck? Yeah, that's probably my fault.→[More:]I have a picture of jonmc on my hard drive holding a napkin in front of his jibbies, that I've been saving to use as a flyer for my band. Speaking of flyers, I've used several Bunnyscape images for them. Also, speaking of Bunnies....

Nice to meet you, krix! Being the ultra nosy (but lovable) person that I am, I've already looked at your profile and have checked out your band and am already listening to Knock Me Down...hee. This is my kind of music! And whoa...your flyers are fun, especially the killer hamster and the bunny/kitty martini party.

A bunch of other metachatters are in bands too. You'll fit right in. Now stop hogging all the You Send It downloads!

I save all the YSI links, too, except usually at work. I keep forgetting to save 'em at home, too. If I ever leave this job, I hope it won't be due to a firing because then I'll never be able to get those music files back. *sob*

And I highly support this idea of using jonmc's jibblies on a flyer for a band. Though it feels weird as his coworker to be thinking thoughts about jon's jibblies.

On preview: Jonny's Jibblies would make a great name for a band.

It's settled then. That pic will be our next flyer. Unfortunately I can't say when that will be, we're taking a brief break from shows while our drummer's carpal tunnel gets better.

Hmmm, maybe Jonny's Jibbies could be my side project?

I was once briefly mentioned in a zine that was in Factsheet Five's top ten or whatever they call it. Now I'm on a band flyer. I feel so hep I can barely stand myself.

Also, I just found a hair in a can of peanuts, but I'm pretty sure it's mine so it's ok.

I just opened a quart of Watermelon flavored malt liqour, after having 5 Buds, and I'm listening to mp3 collection which I re-oredered by genre. I'm in "blues," right now. Things could get interesting.

Awesome. We used to hypnotize our pet rabbits all the time. It was kind of spooky how out-of-it they would get.

Another cool rabbit hack: If it's a non-lop-ear, smooth the rabbit's ears down, then run your finger in a circle around the rabbit's eye. It will raise the ear on the same side as the eye you're tracing around. Smooth down the ear again and try the other side. Hours of fun!

That was the first Weakerthans song I ever heard, and I liked it. Lyrically, it kind of reminded me of this semi-obscure band from the 90's called Nothing Painted Blue.
