I'm staying at this placeExtended Stay Deluxe Ottawa - Downtown, on Cooper St. (apparently it's near Elgin and the canal)

Pick either or both nights for drinks and stuff.

Skating on the canal hurts your feet!

Be sure to eat a Beavertail for me, I didn't get a chance when I was in town.

When I was in town, I did get a chance to buy Kinder eggs and eat Swiss Chalet. It was heaven. Snowy, cold heaven.

As of 9 a.m., Saturday, January 7, 2006, residents and visitors are invited to skate in the heart of Canada’s Capital on the “World’s Largest Naturally Frozen Ice Rink”, as officially recognized by Guinness World Records™. Until then, the NCC urges the public to refrain from venturing onto the Skateway in order to prevent damage to the ice surface, and to allow maintenance crews to complete their work in preparation for the opening.
