mierda my old Uni's been the target of a terrorist attack.

awful...is it definitely Pakistan/India stuff, or Hindu/Muslim or what?

They're saying it's a militant group called Laskar-e-toiba, which has been active on the Pakistan/India border but it's always been a knee-jerk reaction to blame pakistan related militants, so I'm not sure. Definitely not a hindu muslim thing per se.

It also sucks because the Uni is a really tranquil place in the middle of bangalore. People go for walks and jogging etc in the campus...now I'm sure nobody unaffiliated with the place will be allowed to go in.
