So sue me Rather than pollute the question thread itself, I'm just going to vent here that I'm sad that the question even had to be asked.[More:]
How about, *gasp*, take the huge fucking risk and let kids be kids.
Yeah, the thought of being afraid that kids or their parents would sue you for their snowball fight just tells a sad story about society today. Creepy.

If a bunch of kids decided to have a frisbee toss on my lawn, near my drive way and if one of them gets hurt, or winds up with grass stains on their clothes. Can they blame me? It's my lawn, but surely it's not my frisbee. I park my car in my drive way but I do not encourage kids to come and make merriment.

Boy, am I sick of posts that begin IANAL, so what? It's not like the bar association is going to raise a fuss about some nerd spewing in a silly thread. If lawyers are so smart, how come half of them lose the cases they try? Answer me that!

So naturally, I did comment in the thread.

warbaby, half of them lose their cases because there is usually a lawyer on the other side as well so half of them win :)

that's one of those "oh. that's... that's the JOKE! I didn't realize that what I just said was exactly what you were making the joke for. Oh. ha. excuse me, I have to leave now," moments.

"Irony died on 9/11," Tom said ironically.

President Eisenhower was shocked to learn that fully one half of Americans had below average IQs.

"Things are more like they are now than they ever were before." -- Pres. D.D. Eisenhower

There are only two types of people in the world, those that divide the world into two types of people and those who don't.

Don't get despondent. The idea that we live in a super, hyper, horribly litigious society is, to significant degree, a complete fabrication.

Oh well, my own irony is always lost, even people who are being ironic themselves. *gladly takes the cigar*

People thought there was a New Orleans music scene -- there wasn't. || More snow penis silliness
