Well, yeah.

But cheap shots offend me. I prefer to afflict the comfortable. Kicking someone when he's down -- and I think a crack addition is pretty down -- has never sat well with me.

Kick around politicians and con men? Sure, I love that.

But this ex-Alf actor, he's just some poor shlub who deserves at least to be left alone.

I really don't think it's such a tragedy...he doesn't look unhappy, and he's set for life, moneywise, no? (and having to play second-fiddle to a carpet remnant would drive me to a crack pipe too, i think)
