Yeah, I don't think I'll ever understand orthodox Jews - or any other believers - using stuff like this to work around the demands of their own self-imposed religion. Come join us in the swimming pool of agnotism/atheism. It's lovely and warm!

For whatever reasons (beer surplus in body) the main reason I, last night, thought of bringing this piece of news to MetaChat was so I could make that 'joke' about having to get the person to reset the death-switch. Now, of course, I can consider the implications of being able to start a machine that kills people but not to kill them with your own murderous hands.
