Oohhhh what fun. There are five songs available at the moment. The Shannon lady is apparently getting in contact with Jeff Magnum about releasing the remainder of the songs. Judging from the tracknumbers, there are at least 27 songs on this discovered demo tape.

Ok, I keep trying to like these guys since they seem to keep showing up everywhere. Especially here, amongst people whose tastes I otherwise share. So, I'm giving it another go.

I'm not so sure NMH is a band that grows on people. Everyone I knew either loved them with one listen or didn't and continued to not love them.

Yeah, I'm with peter h. This would be a terrible place to start. The album he recommends is their best, imo.

Good to know, peter and dobbs, thanks! I'm not sold on the immediate get it/or don't, as I've come around on some things. I really hate to discard something before I feel as though I've given it a good fair chance.

Whoa, thanks dobbs! This makes my day. I was able to download 4 tracks: 3 from the first link, and 1 from neutralmilkhotel.org. The second and third links in the post are down now, however.

Anyone have any other than 1, 7, 10, and 27? Care to share?
