Yes. And it'll take awhile to actually roll one once you see one.

dodgy: Judging by the top scores, probably not entirely, although a number of those bajillionaires probably got in before the holes were plugged.

And now it says I'm broke, and "no move took place". Even though it moved me to a quickmart, I won nothing (or maybe I'm still negative?). Fuck this bullshit.

I could have sworn I posted this to MeCha before. Not that I mind the doublepost.

I haven't had time to play lately, though. And it kind of lost it's appeal for me back when it was still closed-beta, when I just happened to log in right after a full system reset and ran away with first place by a factor of three for almost a whole week. Sans bot, even.

Although the tricks I learned helped tune the game theory a bit so that isn't quite as easy to do.

But it's a fun little system. The rules are quite simple, yet they give rise to extremely complex behaviors.

me3dia, I imagined there was something like that, but the system utterly failed to let me know it. AJAX can't replace customer communication.

And there really should be some sort of sandbox for people to start out in, like a lot of RPGs. Get an easy win early on, you won't be so concerned about getting it as your dollars slip away with no end in sight.

Hee hee, I have 15 buildings and I'm busted. It was oddly soothing and a nice distraction.

In the meantime, I hope a bunch of people land on me and pay me some sweet, sweet rent.

If anyone is experiencing bugs, please go to the "Bugs" section in the forums and feel free to submit them if they haven't been submitted yet.

You should be able to collect rent even if you're broke, and all transactions should show up in your transaction index, if not in the realtime popups.

There may or may not be scaling issues being discovered as the userbase grows.
