Word/Wordperfect letterhead? [More:]I have a potential letterhead/business card design job. The catch is that the letterhead must be identical for both Word and Wordperfect.

I know - WP is lightyears in the past - but he does a lot of government work and they require it. So I'm not sure talking him out of Wordperfect is an option. I'm pretty confident I can tackle the letterhead in Word. Wordperfect I'm not sure about.

Anybody have any experience with this sort of thing?
A bitmap graphic will be identical in each, and each can embed bitmaps.

Design the card in the graphics program of your choice, output it as a bitmap, and then embed it (multiple times, for as many card are on a page) in a Word document and a WP document.

WP also had some great vector graphics support, and I think Word does too, so you might be able to embed an SVG file.

Best choice: you may also be able to get each to embed an encapsulated postscript file; this would mean better device independent rendering in different printers/displays.

I use both frequently. Why yes, I'm government too. Orthogonality has the right answer: bitmaps work ok, but some sort of vector graphic would be best. I usually use .wmf (windows metafiles) to move line drawings back and forth. The only real problem is fonts. WP usually does sane things with graphics, but all bets are off with Word.

use a standard, always available font for the text.
