Is it just me
Or does anyone else hate the way Chuck Palanuik (sometimes) starts his sentences with "Anymore,"? It bugs me, it really does.

Anymore, is not a word I'd ever start a sentence with... wait, damn!

Nonono! It's not just you. I assure you, I was thinking of posting here about this just a couple days ago. I just read Choke and noticed this annoying "anymore" quirk, but told myself that it was Palahniuk's (inane) way of distinguishing the protagonist's voice. But then I read Diary and he did the exact same thing! I do not think "anymore" means what he thinks it means.

I'm pretty sure the term "rogering" is not british slang for gay, anal sex || Radio Free Sciurus: Instrumentality
