guess what I am holding! [More:]

No, actually it is a civil war cannonball. Found sticking out of the ground next to a tree. I guess it ended up in the dirt many moons ago and the tree roots pushed it up. Now the mp3s.

new kate bush:

old kate bush:

under the ivy

my lagan love

my burning bridge

How weird. I was just thinking of "My Lagan Love" earlier today. I haven't heard it in donkey's years. Thank you, Mr. Table!

1979. I fell in love.

What do y'all think of the new album? I haven't really had a chance to give it a proper listening, but I'm pretty sure I prefer "A Sky of Honey" to "A Sea of Honey".

I have not decided yet. After I listen to all of it another time or two, I'll chime in. =)

Y'know, I'm just afraid "Bertie" is going to get the real bertie beaten up in school.

Alright. Some tracks from my favorite Kate Bush CD. Hounds of Love.

Running up that Hill (must listen for any non-Kate fans)

Cloudbusting

Waking the Witch

I once talked someone into buying this album and his first comment when I talked to him on AIM later was "That Waking the Witch song. WHAT THE HELL?"

Watching You Without Me

And one track from a different album:

Experiment IV

I think I am done for now.

Oh lord. I just sneezed. Everytime I sneeze it makes my entire arm from the elbow to the wrist throb for a few seconds like someone hit it with a baseball bat. Anybody else experience this?

When I played the "Ninth Wave" side of Hounds of Love for my mom, she wrinkled her nose and said, "It sounds like something you'd listen to while smoking opium". So, no more musical suggestions for mom.

Can't help you with the sneezing thing, though.

Love and Anger, my favorite from The Sensual World. I also like "Never Be Mine" and as a Joyce fan, "The Sensual World" makes me horny.

WOOHOO!!! Kate Bush for #1 on the last.fm charts.
Waking the witch is an absolute favourite.

I can't find it now, but I'd just like to send a "You're fantastic" to the clever person who referenced Kate Bush in a recentish post about a song with robots about pi. I love it when I read a comment, think huh, have it sticking in my head and then realise what it means a month later.
