Zubbles! "Disappearing colored bubbles"[More:]Regular bubbles are great, but these sound irresistably fun, too. Additionally, the story behind the invention is full of vision, determination, optimism and downright brilliance. Good stuff!

What's next? Glow in the dark bubbles?
Urf, this was supposed to be in the above part: This was posted both at MeFi & MoFi, but I think it's just too cool not to be posted here as well.

My favorite variation lately is one I picked up at the pet supply store a couple of weeks ago- catnip bubbles.

Our Kayla goes BANANAS over them.

They seem to be glycerin rather than soap based, so they're not quite as easy to blow every time, but at least they don't get soap on the cat's face and paws when she pounces on them.

bp, that rocks! I'm laughing just envisioning it.

If you have a video camera and some time to lend a hand, you should really see if you can help melissa may out on her cat casting call request!

Amazing story. I salute his indefatigability. Can't wait to get my mucky paws on some!

Zubble, Zubble, Toil and Troub... nah, just doesn't have the same ring.

I'm gobsmacked that I never realized there was no such thing as colored bubbles.

Or that it would be so hard to achieve.

Best part: his description of the party where the mothers were horrified at the stains the bubbles left.
