Radio mudpuppie, for those who hunger. Starting in 15 - 20 minutes.

I hate not having sound at work.
posted by Capn 15 November | 13:19
This one's so good you can listen to it even without sound.
posted by mudpuppie 15 November | 13:19
*cries* Damn my work firewall.
posted by goatdog 15 November | 13:20
Maybe I'll just reload the Radio Mecha page again and again and sing the songs I know.
posted by goatdog 15 November | 13:22
Okay, officially starting on the half hour. Link, since I forgot it the first time.

Anyone hungry?
posted by mudpuppie 15 November | 13:22
Stroke my ego. Come listen!
posted by mudpuppie 15 November | 13:32
*snivels with goatdog, thinks about soup*
posted by Specklet 15 November | 13:44
Oh, no! I missed a bunch already (stoopid making-tuna-casserole)! But I'm right here right now, baby!
posted by taz 15 November | 13:47
Ooh, specklet, you're quite prescient. The soup song is coming up...
posted by mudpuppie 15 November | 13:48
Thank you, pup!
posted by Frisbee Girl 15 November | 13:49
It's not an all-Joan-Jett station? Weird!
posted by agropyron 15 November | 13:51
Yay! People!

We're only on track 5, taz, so you haven't missed too much. (And somehow it seems really wrong that you're living in Greece and making frekin' tuna casserole. At least tell me you put feta or sun-dried tomatoes in it.)
posted by mudpuppie 15 November | 13:51
Okay, fine, you win. I'll never mention Joan Fuckin' Jett again.
posted by mudpuppie 15 November | 13:52
I'm here enjoying food songs! Next week I'm going to encourage everyone to listen to WNCW on Thanksgiving morning since they play all food songs, all commercial free, most of the day, highlighted by Alice's Restaurant exactly at noon.
posted by mygothlaundry 15 November | 13:55
Hey the soup song rocks!
posted by agropyron 15 November | 13:58
You must always mention Joan Fuckin' Jett. It's part of your contract, if I have to remind you.

And, yeah, the tuna casserole is one of those haven't-been-shopping, need-to-cook-from-the-cupboard things, but I actually always like it anyway. It's not too bad the way I make it.

Just ironic that you're doing the "hunger show" is all. I should have been able to dazzle you a little more!
posted by taz 15 November | 13:59
The Carolina Sunshine Trio is great!
posted by Frisbee Girl 15 November | 14:08
Never apologize for loving Joan Jett!
posted by agropyron 15 November | 14:08
This is great stuff, muds. I'm having a ball.
posted by taz 15 November | 14:09
I didn't apologize for loving Joan Fuckin' Jett -- just said I'd be keeping it to myself from now on since my appreciation is so obviously no shared. Hmph!

(Forgive me. I've run out of Prozac. I'm a bit sensitive today.)

Thanks, taz, glad you're enjoying it. 'Twas fun to put together.

*drools*

mmm... food.

Hot Dog and Bun! I'm feeling the heat down to my hot dog toes.
posted by taz 15 November | 14:47
FYI, an overwhelming percentage of this music came from Amazon's free downloads.
posted by mudpuppie 15 November | 14:55

wow... amazon free downloads must be way better than I expected!

I have to leave you now, sweet people and sweet dj. It was delicious, and the Johnny Cash was hilarious.

Thanks for the all the bananas.

Poor taz will miss the Spam!

Spammity Spam!
posted by Edible Energy 15 November | 15:51
Hey, speaking of Amazon, I just did a google image search for "lzzzzzzz" and included the omitted results. About 2,120,000 results returned. Neato!

listening. is your ego growing, or do i have to stroke it some more?
posted by flopsy 15 November | 15:54
Janus, I love you.
posted by mudpuppie 15 November | 15:55
Flopsy, it's doing okay now. Thanks.
posted by mudpuppie 15 November | 15:56
I *stroking my own horn* cleverly omitted Joan's visible and beringed nipples from the inline above, but they (and she) can be seen in full glory here.

And I love you right back.
posted by Hugh Janus 15 November | 16:14
Oh my god, did I say "stroking?" I meant "tooting." I must've gotten confused by flopsy's ego comment.

I still love you!

*carefully tucks away horn*
posted by Hugh Janus 15 November | 16:16
I knew what you meant, and I was right there with you.

posted by Specklet 15 November | 16:51
Nope. Her nipples. But I see your point(s).

Won't happen again, promise.
