The dog on Lost is central to unraveling the entire mystery of that show. You just watch and see.
So I was not paying attention and as I had to replace my stupid motherboard, I wanted something good. So I bought one that could take any AMD on the market now - so when I am tired of the AMD 64 3700 that I bought with it, I can upgrade it without switching out the mobo or anything else. But I was not paying much attention to the fact that the mobo uses PCI Express - like many these days.
It will not work with my AGP Radeon 9800 pro - which I was perfectly happy with. Oh well. Assuming they were actually in stock still, I will be getting a Sapphire X800 GTO2 and a nifty cooling system for it as well. I am going to pop in a new bios, overclock that bitch and have myself the equiv. of a Radeon 850XT PE for less than three hundred bucks.
HOW DOES THAT SMACK YOU IN THE ASS, DARLING?
I did not want to spend any money on my computer right now and after my motherboard dying, I somehow managed to spend $700 because I did not want to waste the money on an older mobo when I would probably want to upgrade my system in a year or two anyway... I am broke and I am possibly insane.
As silly as it sounds, I think the whole thing *does* come down to "Lassie On A Deserted Island With A Very Strange Skinner Box Type Deal And Many Half Naked And Moderately Attractive Folks Romping In Faux Distress In A Tropical Paradise And The Damn Dog Totally Rescues Their Befuddled Asses In The Series Closer Television Event."

I dunno. I kinda get sucked into those LOADIWAVSSBTDAMHNAMAFRIFDIATPATDDTRTBAITSCTEs every once in a while, and as long as I suspend my disbelief, it's an fun ride.
