31 October 2005

I sense a pattern.

There's yer trouble -- your clock's wrong. It's only 11 a.m.

That oughta fix it.

Gee, I'm sure glad Matt quit his job.

Me too. I had the cubicle next to his, and he was always clipping his fingernails and wearing heavy cologne.

How bad is this for business? Realistically?

It has rained all day. I have had to water my gardens all summer and even this fall... finally we are catching up on rain. So fuck the MeFi, it can be down for weeks as long as it keeps raining. I just hope I am not sick tomorrow since I have been outside playing in the rain like a five-year-old. I still feel kinda bad for the little ones though, going to be chilly and rainy all evening.

Ah, the sound of the knees jerking has finally quieted.

I want to go home and play Battlefield 2.

It's sunny and pleasant here.

I want sunny and pleasant. I have dreary and dank.

I'm moving in with you, mudpuppie. I need chicken payback.

Hey, isn't today the first day Matt is working fulltime on MeFi? I gotta admit, it's a big improvement already.

It is freaking damn sunny here in Raleigh! Aaaaaugh! Where is the goddamn rain!!?? Everything in my garden is on its last legs and I'm dragging a 2 galleon watering can trying to revive shit before it succumbs. Whoops! Another evergreen bites the dust.

Meanwhile I have a thing or two to say to Twiggy over on the Alito thread.

Sunny and blue skies here in the 'burgh. But I'm stuck in the office and the sun is glaring on my monitors.

grey and overcast here in the burbs; lucky bastards with all your sunshine.

Sunny and 70. I think my hydrangea might be dead. I'm tired of sunny. I would also like to know why, in winter, it is colder inside my house than outside, while in summer, it is hotter inside my house than outside. Doesn't this break some law of thermodynamics or something?

Sunny, clear blue skies, 65 degrees, 3:29 pm.

FWIW, I think that November 1st is his first day as a full time Mefi employee. Also, he might just be enroute home from this wedding.

I have a mask, a scary CD, and four whole jack-o-lanterns with which to scare the young trick or treaters that visit me this evening.

Mygoth -- I think it means that your insulation was installed backwards.
posted by mudpuppie 31 October | 15:36
mygoth, tell the truth. Did you line your house with tinfoil?
posted by Specklet 31 October | 15:41
Umm.. it's still down? Whoa.
posted by agropyron 31 October | 15:47
Right now...it is sunny and clear outside...and the...temperature...is at...68..beautiful...degrees.

It’s 3 am, there’s too much noise, don’t you people ever want to go to bed? Just because you feel so good, do you have to drive me out of my head?
