→[More:]For me, the most powerful and poignent Ali moment was not in the ring, or for anything he said, but when he stood in front of the world with his body wracked by Parkinsons disease, and lit the Olympic torch at the Atlanta games. There he stood, formerly one of the greatest athletes in the world, crippled by disease and smiling. That shell might be failing, but what truly was the greatest about Ali shines on.
