God, just when you thought Maureen Dowd couldn't be more annoying.

Maureen Dowd is a bozo. I heard her being interviewed, and the topic of the Texas amendment came up. She echoed the ignorant trope about it possibly banning all marriage; an indication that she is either illiterate or a hack. A simple reading of the amendment shows that such rhetoric is pure nonsense.

She isn't insightful. Her entire shtick is to try to be funny. She ought not undermine her shtick by engaging horror shows such as dressing up at Emma Peel. We don't need that image.

I can't stand to read Dowd either. Too much "guess what I found on a blog today?"
