Fitzmas Gifts? Bets and predictions: who'll get what from Fitzgerald? And who, if anyone, has sung like a canary?
Get on the record while the indictments still remain sealed!
I'm thinking Franklin is going to be kept dangling for the next phase, which seems to be just leaving the gate.
Rove is getting off lightly. Really, they all are, since there apparently won't be any charges yet associated with the Intelligence Identities Protection Act, just deceiving the grand jury.
Somewhat surprised as I am at the Harriet withdrawl, even though it was predicted on The Daily Show, I am in no way going to predict indictments on this. Having said that, certainly Scooter is going to get the nod at the very least. Cheney deserves something, if not a presidential pardon, but I doubt it will go that far. All I want for the holiday of your choice is a centrist government that actually represents the people rather than the freaky far right or far left.
puke, no, they're done with Rove for now -- the extension is to look into the yellowcake documents, and who had their fingerprints on making them or putting them into US dossiers.
This will be small consolation for a failure to indict on the disclosure itself, which now looks likely.
We don't know what the hell is going to happen. Unlike some investigators (ahem, Starr), Fitz actually takes his job seriously, and hasn't leaked like a sieve. Nobody but him knows what's coming down the pike. Anybody that says otherwise is just guessing.
Don't forget this--let's see if he holds to his (second) declaration: President Bush appeared to backtrack Monday from his 2004 pledge to fire anyone involved in leaking the name of CIA operative Valerie Plame.
"I think it's best if people wait until the investigation is complete before you jump to conclusions," Bush said at a joint news conference with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
"I would like this to end as quickly as possible so we know the facts. And if someone committed a crime, they will no longer work in my administration," Bush said. --CNN, July
So, Libby indicted ---one count of obstruction of justice, two counts of making false statements and two counts of perjury in the CIA leak probe. (CNN) He's toast.
'Scooter Libby' sounds like a teen girl "issues" comic.

Sure gaspode, and there are countries which make America's far right look downright liberal, or places on this planet that make Minnesota look warm in the winter. What I am talking about is the political polarization in this country with very little middle ground, and very little compromise or attempt at, you know, governing.
