have you guys seen that parody ad for a chicken chain? i think it was SNL and it was an animated chicken that threw itself into the slaughterhouse's machines at the end.

I have never understood this advertising trend. I've always thought it was some sort of oblivious-to-irony 50s thing. Or something.
