I dunno, it's quick and dirty, but not horrible. I can read and browse the site easily, there's a lot of white space, and they've even got breadcrumbs.
Sometimes I get very annoyed with the overdesigned aesthetics-before-all-else Shaun Inman approach to displaying complex information.
there's a lot of white space

too dead simple. any moron can figure it out. it needs flash. a cryptic menu consisting of animated gizmoids that wiggle on mouseover and give no clue as to what happens if you click. i'll do the job for $18,000.
Very often when I find pages via google (maybe especially with image search) I come across some odd looking designs like this which is almost always because they are actually part of a framed layout, but I'm accessing the pages without the frames. At first I thought this might be the same thing, but I guess not.
