When Celebrities breed, part 87 million ...She's also strict about laundry duties: If Lourdes leaves dirty clothes on the floor, "we take all of her clothes and put them in a bag, and she has to earn all of her clothes back by being tidy," Madonna said. "She wears the same outfit every day to school until she learns her lesson."
I'm resisting the inevitable wire hangers comment to instead boggle over the fact that Lourdes is nine years old. Man, time's flying by too fast.

I certainly hope they have poor Rocco in some sort of martial arts classes, 'cause if not that kid's going to get his ass kicked every schoolday for the rest of his life.

Maybe the name will keep the bullies at bay. It's always been my personal policy never to mess with guys named Rocco.

Reminds me of one of the conversations Chez Ritchie my friend imagined... wouldn't you love to be a fly on *that* wall?

Rocco: "Lola, what does Kaballah mean?"

Lourdes: "It means 'Mommy has lost her fucking mind' in Hebrew. Now hold still while I tie this fucking red string around your wrist."

R: "So who's your daddy?"

L: "Some hispanic guy mom met at the gym."

R: "Is it true that Kaballah teaches us that being gay is wrong and you shouldn't have them around?"

L: "Gee, I don't know. Why don't you ask Uncle Christopher?"

R: "We have an Uncle Christopher?"

L: "Exactly."

If you don't eat your meat, how can you have any pudding?

Yeah, Madonna and I are about the same age.

I find it ironic in the extreme that she has turned out to be the kind of parent she is. Can't wait to see how she handles their teen years when they are old enough to read about her earlier career.

But, hey, at least it sounds like she is trying to raise her children well.

Raise her children well? Last year Lola berated an assistant for handing her a can of Coke. "I said DIET, asshole."

Madge can do better.

she can do much better--and should.

and this beast stuff is just too weird.

You know, her Mammon-damnin' monologues might be taken more seriously were she not donning a $15,000 getup (and channeling Lulu Fishpaw - what is with her hair?)

Junkies down in Brooklyn are going crazy
They’re laughing just like hungry dogs in the street
Policemen are hiding behind the skirts of little girls
Their eyes have turned the color of frozen meat

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
Madonna has risen from the grave
Madonna has risen from the grave

Catholic school girls have thrown away their mascara
They chain themselves to the axles of big Mack trucks
The sky is filled with herds of shivering angels
The fat lady laughs, "gentlemen, start your trucks"

Oh no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
Madonna has risen from the grave
Madonna has risen from the grave

Lourdes
Mother’s home
Lourdes
Come to mother
Lourdes

No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
Madonna has risen from the grave
Madonna has risen from the grave
Madonna has risen from the grave
Madonna has risen!

Blue Öyster Cult - Joan Crawford

(I took some liberties with the lyrics)

You'll love it even more once you've heard it. There's a great version on Extraterrestrial Live.

But I don't have speakers or my own computer so I can't post the actual song.
