I just saw a comment from dabitch in MeFi (from 2 hours ago) and immediately came over here a wonderin' how she was going.

I know it's not pronounced "ask," but every time I see "Åsk Dabitch" I'm reminded of a Keith Richard's quote. When asked what all the internal feuding was about in the Rolling Stones, Richards said, "If you want to know what the bitchin' is about, ask the bitch" (the bitch being Mick Jagger.)

Our Åsk is in no way a bitch, though, of course. I'm just free-associating.

Don't tell my BF that I smuggled this laptop into the bedroom he'll cut my cable. I'm just lying here waiting for tomorrow when I get a pill to start me off (exactly 14 days overdue). See, I'm no princess, so I can't get that pill 14 days before my due date like that royal pain did (according to Danish news sources). Maybe this is why they were so keen on sending me home on Friday, giving me a quick poke and telling me I'd likely start labour just fine on my own - now off you go ta-ta - , two hours before she arrived and shut down half the hospital. *sulk* No amount of begging would make them give me the labour-starting pill so I've just been in bed, waiting for some action for days here. Sucky.
