It was bad enough that Bush had a phoney q & a thing with coached and rehearsed soldiers this week, but one of the soldiers wasn't even really a soldier--she was a pr person from the Pentagon. ... I mean, a public-relations person spouting the regime's line back at us? Instead, he pretended that they were all combat soldiers, not spokespeople. ...
If I post a comment here, is it still on the 14th or is it tomorrow ?

I bet a lot of people wish he wasn't the president.

Well, there's a criminal investigation in the works for the whole Armstrong Williams thing--this is probably legal in comparison but cut from the same cloth all the same.
This whole Q&A thing took the concept of the staged event into a whole new dimension of imcompetency.

Just when I think their scum sucking antics are par for the course, they become scummier. It's as if they are trying to look bad on purpose. At the beginning of w's first term someone said the more stupid he appears the less likely the population will believe he is capable of being party to evil. He's looking like a jackass now. Makes me nervous.

I watched this event live at work and everyone around me said something to the effect of, "They're reading off a script." The only thing that made me think it might NOT be scripted beforehand was the amount of hemming and hawing, especially from Dear Leader. I guess they all just suck at following cues.

I am so glad to see the media starting to pick at some of the threads of this potemkin presidency and hope it will lead to a complete unraveling. I didn't know that the Armstrong thing was still alive so that's encouraging, too.

'Your Humble & Beloved Commissioner' and his explanation is fun.

Sorry to bother you again, but (iPod ?) || Is there such a thing as a truly selfless act?
