Sorry to bother you again, but (iPod ?) →[More:]iPod Shuffle, installed the latest update. Waited . . . iTunes opened and began updating my iPod . . . following errors, even after restoring the drive:

"Attemping to copy to the disk "XXX XXXXX" failed. The disk could not be read from or written to." (dialog box)

"Windows - Delayed Write Failed. Windows was unable to save all the data for the file F:. The data has been lost . . ." (balloon)

XP SP2.

I've Googled to no avail; wife's iPod seems fine, though I haven't plugged it in since this happened. Do you kind folks have any advice?

Never auto update and always stay one update behind. Good for all software.
