Just root for the Angels. They beat the Yankees, so they're not evil. I never get into baseball until just before the playoffs and only if the Angels or Dodgers are in contention. Watch the game from the beginning and Joe Buck and the Fox Sports team will bring you up to date on everything about the teams and players... over and over and over and over.

Actually, I rather enjoy the baseball playoffs. It's best if my team is NOT in them, so I don't get nervous and upset by the games.

As an Orioles fan, I've had a pretty good run of play-off watching the last few years.

I'm pretty sure the Cards will beat the Astros to get the World Series so its really a question of Angels or White Sox. I'm leaning towards Angels but then they beat my Giants a few years ago (actually, sorry Dusty Baker beat the Giants by being a putz manager).

I do know that I'm more interested now that the Yankees are done.

Considering the White Sox needed an umpire's help to beat the Angelenos/Anaheimians last night IN Chicago, the Cherubim have to be favored for the rest of the series... They also have the Rally Monkey, so they should be adopted by MonkeyFilter (and 9622.net), and who wears White Socks these days anyway?

But the White Sox haven't won a series since 1917, which was a year before the Red Sox did it the last time (before last year). Go, White Sox! It's their turn.

Go White Sox, GO! And Wendell, I must respectfully disagree: we didn't need that bad call to win last night... it just sped the process up a little! ;)

All I know is that the Brewers finished ahead of the Cubs this year, and to me, that's all that really matters.
