New Cosmos of Photography (warning: commercial site, a few images may be very marginally NSFW). The judges. The gallery. The Grand Prix. I like Jin Ohashi. Bjork likes him, too.

The selection committee consisted of four regular members and two guest judges. The regular members were Nobuyoshi Araki (photographer), Kotaro Iizawa (photo critic), Fumio Nanjo (deputy director of Mori Art Museum), and Daido Moriyama (photographer), and the guest judges were William Eggleston (photographer) and Mika Ninagawa (photographer).

The names of award winners selected in a stiff competition with a total of 1,324 entrants and 37,604 photos entered are given below. In November 2005, an exhibition of award-winning photos from this contest will be held at Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography.
