A weekend off! For a change, I get to take this weekend off from working on the house (or on someone else's house, computer, car etc).→[More:]I get to sit in front of the TV and watch this all weekend. In fact, I have three weekends off drudgery planned - this one (the greatest race of the year for the greatest motorsport category in existence), this one (where I will be spectating in person) and this one (where I will be offiating).

Yes, I know nobody cares, but I just wanted to brag to someone. I also know that this is a sad indication of what my life has come to.

Officially, I am usually either Referree, Judge or Officer of the Day. More often, I get referred to as "fucking arsehole".

Not sure about the tv-races but the boat stuff would be cool.

Goodonya dg! If I can fit it in between getting my folks backyard into shape and maybe popping round the corner to the cricket in the afternoon, I'll be tuned in to cheer on Marcus Ambrose in the Great Race.
