Flying Fish Airbrush artist Chris Coakley, a worker at Goodrich Aerospace in Everett, Wash., paints an Alaska Airlines 737, now called the "Salmon-Thirty-Salmon," to look like a giant king salmon Friday. A crew of 30 painters spent 24 days on the job.
I love Alasak Airlines planes. Love Love Love them.

At a half million dollars of taxpayer money a pop I can't imagine this catching on in a big way.

That's awesome. It reminds me of the SeaWorld blimp that looks like a killer whale... it came to Atlanta once during one of the World Series, and flew directly over my house going to and from the stadium each night. Talk about surreal.

Yep and the fish didn't spend any of it, it was paid for by the feds.
