Cool me off, I'm soooooo hot. →[More:]After a week, I have power back in my dwelling. The power surge which blew the circuit last week--completely unrelated to Rita--has, we have discovered, fried all the circuit boards in the commercial-sized air conditioner we have outside.

Replacements will be here in two weeks.

Well, just try not to think about lusty sex with one or more attractive persons. definetly don't imagine touching the taut but responsive flesh of others and the moans of pleasure your touches elicit. Really don't think of the sweaty... salty... you know what, I'll just stop.

My parents still don't have electricity (from Rita). They do have a small generator, but it's not enough to power the a.c., so they're in the same position. Nasty.

One thing I'm so very grateful for here is the timely appearance of seasons; I can drag myself through July and August knowing that September will definitely lead to cooler Autumn weather - so nice after living for about 20 years in nearly-perpetual summer!

Oh, I forgot! Here's something for you to look for tomorrow, wolfdaddy. I can't personally vouche for it, because we can't get them here (yet), but I've been dying to try it. It ought to help a bit with the worst part: sleeping at night.

Why didn't I think of that? I have one. It's not that it's cool, but it doesn't get hot, like you just flipped your pilow over.
