I was kind of disappointed that the plot didn't actually progress. But then it looks like we get Mad Max crazy people next episode so whatever.

The plot slowly creeps along. A few interesting things to note ... there is a far clearer depiction of the bagua arrangement of iChing imagery on the wall of the underground lair and on the food stuffs in the room in which Kate is locked.

Desmond has Locke enter in the now-famous sequence of numbers (4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42) - resetting a "clock-like" device to 108 (the number that appears in the center of a mural depicting the sun - on the wall; the sum of the six mysterious numbers).

Also, the present Michael gives to Walt in the flashback is a polar bear. I'm sure I missed other symbolism that others will include at places like Wikipedia.

Little Walt was super cute. That is my shallow observation. I thought the rest of the episode was kinda boring.

I, for one, am looking forward to a good, old-fashioned girlfight next week.
