I cried at National Lampoon's Vegas Vacation. At first I thought it was due to my depression but then I read the reviews on imdb.

I'd go with Bull Durham as the best baseball movie. And for sentimental reasons I have to mention Fear Strikes Out just for Anthony Perkins climbing the fence and yelling at his dad. It's sort of the anti Field of Dreams father/son moment in a baseball flick.

I bet you can't guess number one.

If I know Mr Crash Davis (and I don't), I'd bet his favorite baseball movie is the Kid From Left Field starring Gary Coleman and Robert Guillaume.

That's the only Kevin Costner movie I like. Also the only Ray Liotta movie I like. James Earl Jones and Burt Lancaster rule that movie. And it makes me cry too.

I felt myself tear up right as my girlfriend was talking about how she didn't get this movie. How can you not get Field of Dreams? It even has Poindexter from Revenge of the Nerds!

The best baseball movie ever is Bang the Drum Slowly. It is also the saddest baseball movie ever.

It's like watching Old fuckin' Yeller. Your eyes won't be dry for weeks.
